Your Vision. Our Expertise. One Aligned Mission.

As your Owner’s Representative, Ministry Solutions Group acts as an extension of your team: Protecting your interests, managing complexity, and ensuring every decision moves your mission forward.

Achieve Growth and Impact by Developing a Clear Path Forward

For churches, the biggest challenge is not getting through construction but getting to construction.

Most project management companies focus on construction management. However, that only works if the project gets to construction.

At Ministry Solutions Group, we don’t just understand construction; we have expertise in design, finance, ministry, and construction management to ensure that you get the right project within budget and delivered on time with competitive financing.

While dreaming of a new building project for your ministry can be an exciting time, the reality of managing and coordinating a project of that magnitude is a significant undertaking that requires time and experience. From building the right team to securing financial resources to identifying a design that fits your vision, timeline, and budget - a successful project requires an experienced guide to join your team and lead the way.

Owner's Representative vs. Project Manager

Church projects need more than someone to manage tasks—they need someone to protect the mission behind them. Here’s how an Owner’s Representative differs from a Project Manager.

An owner’s representative is a valuable asset for any project. We provide a range of essential services throughout all stages of a project to ensure it runs smoothly and that complex goals are more easily met.

With expertise in all areas of design and construction, we offer valuable and unbiased advice from planning to completion (including project planning, design, construction, budget control, as well as the closeout phases), ensuring the project aligns with your vision and goals throughout the project lifecycle.

Owner's Representative:
Our role is to act on behalf of the owner, overseeing the entire project and serving as the owner's trusted advisor and advocate. We act as an extension of the owner, advocating for your interests at all times.

Project Manager:
A PM is an executor, responsible for the day-to-day management to ensure the project is executed efficiently and effectively. Focused on specific tasks and execution of the project work, PM’s ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
Represents the owner's interests:
Acts as the owner's advocate, ensuring their vision, budget, and goals are met.

Prioritizes the owner's best interest at all times.
May be part of the contractor's team:
Often works for the general contractor and is responsible for managing the construction process.
Broad oversight:
Oversees the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to construction and completion.

Manages communication and relationships:
Facilitates communication between the owner and all project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and engineers.

Focuses on strategic objectives:
Ensures the project aligns with the owner's overall goals and objectives.
Focuses on execution:
Manages the day-to-day operations of a project team (e.g., contractor, architect) and ensures tasks are completed on time and within budget, focusing on the technical aspects of the project's execution.
Examples of responsibilities:
Contractor selection, contract negotiation, project planning, quality control, risk management, budget, and financial management.
Examples of responsibilities:
Developing project schedules, coordinating activities, overseeing subcontractors, managing materials, and ensuring site safety.
Should be involved from the project's inception:
Can be brought on board early to help with site selection, team selection, and securing necessary approvals and permits.

“It is not one single part of a project that is difficult; it’s having multiple silos that need to come together into a singular, cohesive action plan. That’s where the challenges often lie. We offer a single point of leadership that brings every single item together and guide you through.”
