Nathan is the principal and founder of Ministry Solutions, an organization located in Atlanta, GA that helps churches expand through intelligent growth strategies. In his role at Ministry Solutions, he has the responsibility of creating financial strategies for churches so they have more money to do ministry. He also provides high level oversight of each project.
Nathan Artt started Ministry Solutions in late 2012 after becoming a Christian at Buckhead Church in 2010. Following a successful career in banking and private equity, Nathan left his position as the SVP of Corporate Development at one of the largest financial firms in the country to follow a passion to see the local church succeed in using finances and facilities to expand ministry impact. His leadership has helped grow a small, one-man shop serving a few churches per year to a boutique, mid-size consulting firm with over $600,000,000 in successfully funded and managed church projects.
Nathan has two wonderful children; Canaan and Evie. In his spare time, he loves anything that involves his kids' desire for adventures, exploring Atlanta, and writing. He and his family are members of Renovation Church in Atlanta, GA, and enjoy volunteering in various ministries there.
Director of Church Expansion
Dave Benham joined Ministry Solutions in June of 2017 after serving 20 years as LS3P’s Worship Practice Leader, where he provided design expertise and extensive knowledge of both traditional and contemporary spiritual spaces. Dave’s leadership connects his highly specialized skills with the wider resources of our firm, encouraging cross-disciplinary efficient problem solving and multi-discipline collaboration.
With over 35 years of experience in master planning and architectural design, Dave has worked on a diverse portfolio of projects. He began his career working on the Billy Graham Chapel in Asheville, North Carolina, and has since completed a wide variety of designs for worship centers nationwide, which have won multiple design awards. Dave has worked on over 400 churches including: Baptist Church of Spartanburg, Brookwood Church, Crosspoint Church of Nashville, Summit Church in Durham and Seacoast Church in Mt. Pleasant.
Dave wears different (but connected) hats through the Owner’s Representative process. His initial role is to lead the Clear Path Forward process for new projects to bring clarity to the program and function of the building, focusing on the programming and conceptual layout while balancing those numbers with the developed project budget. Dave is also responsible for the design direction throughout the entire project including selection of the architect, AVL integrator and general contractor, and facilitate design review meetings with the church.
Cycling is a passion in his leisure time. Dave is part of the Challenge to Conquer Cancer – a group of cyclists who annually ride from Greenville, SC to Lewiston, Maine to raise money for cancer research. The organization has donated over one million dollars for this cause over the last ten years.
Dave spends his other free time in his downtown neighborhood with his wife, Toni, traveling, going to concerts, the theatre, and arts events. He is a father of five adopted children and one step-child, which keep him busy with all their varying interests.
Director of Project Management
Terry’s diverse construction background, leadership, problem solving abilities, thoroughness, and 100% project success rate of time and budget adherence brings several elements to each and every project for success.
Terry graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, SC with a Civil Engineering degree and has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years. Over his career Terry has been a part of managing over 1 billion dollars of construction. During this time he is most proud of his work in the ministry environment where has not only built churches as the general contractor but also managed them as an owner representative for a variety of churches. Terry has also worked for one of the largest construction management/program management/architectural firms (Heery International) for a great deal of his career as a Senior Project Manager. There he was part of the management team for the Atlanta Aquarium project, one the largest in the world. Terry also brings a unique element to project management due to being a former Building Official, which helps bring a higher level of quality control of all projects that he is involved in. One of Terry’s most notable projects is completing the Airport People Mover at the Atlanta Airport where he was tasked as the overall manager for the project. Terry has always had a desire for ministry and looks forward to enhancing and ensuring success for all projects he is involved in.
Terry Campbell joined Ministry Solutions in May 2019 as a Project Manager. Terry’s role as an Owner’s Representative is to lead the church during the design development of the project, specifically to lead the team of consultants through planning and construction of the project, keeping the team accountable to the goals of schedule, budget, and quality. This includes facilitating the selection of the construction team and vendors, leading project meetings, development of the project schedule, creation and tracking of the project budget, project cost control, consultant management, documenting and managing the project expectations, as well as guiding the client in the decision-making process.
Director of Financial Services
Tom Gordon serves as the Director of Finance for Ministry Solutions. In this role, Tom works with lenders to provide optimal financing alternatives for our clients.
Tom has worked in the corporate lending arena for more than 30 years, helping to finance complex capital expenditures by providing analysis, structuring, guidance, and negotiations on behalf of clients. Tom brings a deep level of experience to Ministry Solutions’ clients, having been involved in more than $1 billion dollars of financing involving many types of financial structures throughout his career.
Tom graduated from Oral Roberts University in 1986 and, over the years, has regularly volunteered at church and other civic organizations, including serving on various oversight committees at church, as home group leader, on the worship team, in the children’s ministry, and the maintenance team. For several years Tom also served on the Central Florida Board for United Way in the capacity that distributes funds throughout central Florida, and on the Board of Directors for a crisis center for women where Tom and his family have volunteered for 20 years.
As Director of Financial Services, Tom's primary role is to create a consensus with the church leadership on a loan request amount and its timing, then create and present the loan request for multiple funding institution’s review. After approval, Tom will lead the negotiation on terms and conditions, and walk with the church through loan closing. Tom also conducts all of the financial data analysis and provides project budget oversight during the pre-construction loan process.
Brittany DeRoche joined Ministry Solutions in March of 2020 as a Project Administrator. She brings over 15 years of experience to the team with a diverse background in customer service, project management, logistics, and marketing.
Brittany provides administrative support to the project managers, helping them stay organized, on task, and ensuring items are on track for project success. Her skill sets and experience allows her to perform a variety of roles within the project management department including developing and managing project schedules, calendar management, development of project documents, and helping streamline processes to improve productivity in the company.
Prior to joining Ministry Solutions, Brittany took a step back from the corporate world in 2016 to focus on her family, athletics, and nutrition coaching. She has a health science degree and is passionate about serving and inspiring others through her story and health and wellness.
Brittany is married to Peter and has two daughters, Hannah and Amelia. They enjoy camping, hiking, and taking adventurous backpacking trips. Brittany is an accomplished athlete having completed several races in triathlon and running. She has qualified for age group nationals shooting for a spot on the Team USA triathlon team. Brittany infuses her dedication and drive as an athlete into her daily life and work. She doesn’t let adversity hold her back. Brittany is strong in her faith, always looks for the silver lining, and carries a positive outlook on life.
Amy Cook is an eternal optimist, a courageous go-getter, and a focused leader, with an authentic heart for the nations and a drive to excel in all that she does. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Auburn University, Amy moved from intern to Digital Marketing Manager over the course of six years at Carter’s Inc.
In her time at Carter’s, Inc, Amy managed and and led the strategy for all digital marketing channels— including Email, Paid Social Media, SEM, SEO, and Affiliate —and worked cooperatively with multiple departments.
Amy is a globe-trotter at heart and loves trying out various international cuisines. She spent a collective two-years overseas on mission, doing humanitarian work with The World Race. This strengthened her leadership and problem-solving skills as she faced and overcame challenges.
When she returned home in January of 2020, Amy was able to couple her love for touching lives in a deep and meaningful way, with her digital expertise to help Ministry Solutions engage and partner alongside growth-minded ministry leaders.
With experience in both the public and private sectors of the corporate-world plus 15+ years in the faith-based sector, Jan is passionate about using her gifts and abilities to further God’s Kingdom.
At Ministry Solutions, Jan serves as the Executive Director providing leadership in organizational and operations oversight. Prior to that, she was the Director of Administration for a capital campaign firm for almost 15 years. Other work experiences include 10+ years in Human Resources and 5+ years in Risk Management. Jan has a B.B.A. in Management from Georgia College and State University.
Married to her best friend, Jan & her husband, Keith, enjoy serving together on their church’s praise team and spending time with family. In her leisure time, she also enjoys reading, swimming, riding bikes and getting away to the beach or mountains as often as possible!
Matt brings leadership in commercial real estate development and construction with a consultative approach to client relationship development, actively listening to clients, and gaining a thorough understanding of their needs.
Matt’s 20+ years of experience exemplifies value-added project development know-how helping clients avoid the pitfalls that waste both time and money. For over a decade, he developed properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast for a national design/build firm specializing in faith-based construction. With an in depth understanding of a project’s life-cycle, he has led clients through the complexities involved with development by forming high performing teams of architects, engineers, and consultants to execute collaborative strategies that successfully complete the various stages of real estate development. From acquisition/disposition, entitlements, and master planning to building design, funding procurement, and construction.
Over the past decade, he has worked with small to mid-sized regional general contractors to drive top-line revenues and build strong repeat client relationships. He has served a diverse portfolio of clients within numerous real estate markets including Faith-Based, Education, Healthcare, Senior Living, and Commercial Office.
Matt is a graduate of Virginia Tech and lives in the Charlotte, NC area with his wife of 25 years and three boys. Matt enjoys boating, hiking, mountain biking, and college football. #GOHOKIES!
Latrice Ashley joined Ministry Solutions in January 2020 as a Financial Analyst. Latrice's unique background involves Corporate Financial and Reporting Analysis in addition to Ministry Finance experience.
Latrice graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. After six years of pursuing a career in the Oil and Gas Industry, she transitioned into a ministry role as the Financial Comptroller at Hope City Church in Houston, TX in March 2017. Hope City is currently the fastest growing church in the United States with roughly 10,000 members after launching in 2015. In June 2019, Latrice made the decision to go back to the Oil and Gas Industry where she works full time as an F&PA Senior Analyst. Her vast experience has equipped and enabled her to be able to contribute greatly to wherever she is. Latrice takes on each task and project with great enthusiasm to make sure that everything she does is done well and to the best of her ability.
As a Financial Analyst with Ministry Solutions, Latrice's role is to assist in creating a clear financial picture for each client. This includes working to analyze and interpret the financial and giving history of each church. Her experience as a comptroller within the church world allows her to adapt well to the nuances related to ministry financials. Latrice considers it a great honor to see people's lives changed and the community grow stronger and is happy to partner with organizations that equip them to do just that.
Brittney Sinkfield joined Ministry Solutions in March 2021 as an Administrative Coordinator. She has over 10 years of administrative experience across several industries, supporting high-level executives.
As an Administrative Coordinator with Ministry Solutions, Brittney’s role provides support to Finance and Operation, helping them stay organized, on task, and ensuring items are on track for project success.
Brittney is an Atlanta native with one daughter, Maddison. They enjoy, hiking, traveling, arts and crafts, museums, and exploring the city.
